In your B.A. Aviation Management, you will be prepared for a rewarding career in the aviation industry. You will learn the basics of academic work, business administration and aviation management. You then get the opportunity to learn which institutions exist in the aviation industry and what the international regulatory framework looks like. Digital skills, the management of globally operating companies and intercultural and ethical competencies will round off your education. In our simulation game, you can even try out your skills as an airline manager and gain a good insight into the professional world of aviation management.

Airline or Air Cargo Flight Operations Manager

Whether aircraft are full of passengers or cargo - as a Flight Operations Manager you ensure that flights run smoothly. You ensure that the staffing for terminal operations is right and make sure that expenses do not exceed the budget. You also develop standard operating and working practices. In critical situations involving passengers, cargo or staff, you use your extensive knowledge to find the best solutions.

Ground Operations Manager

As a Ground Operations Manager, you will lead your own team and set priorities for ramp, fleet, customer service and baggage handling. You develop strategies, analyse processes and re-evaluate situations as needed to drive progress and achieve operational goals. You never lose sight of safety, punctuality and compliance, and you look after the concerns of the workforce.

Network Manager

As a network manager, you are responsible for the flight schedule of an airline. You take responsibility for ensuring that the route network offered by your airline is as profitable as possible. Your agenda includes monitoring developments, planning ahead, and identifying market potential. You use your skills to optimise the economic concept of your employer and thus ensure growth.
