During your studies, you will learn how to deal with different concepts of data management. Building on this, you will deal with BI-specific practical fields, such as ETL processes, the storage of structured and unstructured data as well as their modelling and visualisation based on your report and key figure creation. As a Business Intelligence Analyst, you have a high affinity for data and recognise patterns in it. You are responsible for the preparation, cleansing and modelling of data in order to gain business-relevant insights. You define requirements for complex data analyses and develop concepts for them. You also evaluate business processes and communicate your results to stakeholders using relevant KPIs.
Business Intelligence Solution Architects focus on the analysis of business processes. From this, they derive the technologically required BI components. They develop database models and data warehouse architectures. In addition, they create reports and dashboards for both your internal customers and stakeholders.
As a Data Consultant, you develop data strategies based on your BI expertise. Your work ranges from solving concrete problems with BI to establishing company-wide strategies. You will also have the opportunity to support relevant stakeholders in data and BI projects as an independent consultant.
